I think one of my favourite things to do is work on concept passion projects because they exercise your brain with the opportunity of full creative freedom. Concept projects allow you to try new techniques and work outside of your comfort zone with out worrying about perfection or timelines. Euphoric is my most recent concept project and I am absolutely in love with the result!

The Inspiration:

A couple of years ago I was in Mexico on business and we went to this lovely restaurant in Leon. It also happened to have a speakeasy attached to it, the perfect place for a night cap. I fell in love with this concept of a restaurant and lounge with a “secret” bar to end off your night.

This year, I was visiting Banff with my partner and we stumbled across a parlour + lounge style restaurant with some dope Art Deco vibes and it got my creative juices flowing immediately.

Enter, The Concept:

I merged these two elements of inspiration and came up with the concept for an Art Deco style Restaurant + Lounge with a speakeasy in the basement. Euphoric has a bright + airy interior with a nod to the Art Deco era. It's upscale but with a laid back vibe. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a meal and cocktail pairing that ignites all of the senses before heading down to No Service, the dark + moody speakeasy, where you can enjoy a night cap to finish off the evening. Why the name Euphoric?

This is a place where you gather to enjoy great food and drinks. A place where you feel complete freedom from all of your day to day worries and you immerse yourself into the carefully paired food + cocktails. The branding & design of Euphoric Restaurant + Lounge gives a nod to the Art Deco era, also the era of the roaring 20s, a time people might say was truly Euphoric.

The main attraction of Euphoric is the speciality paired menu. This menu is a set menu that offers four different, four course meal selections. Each course is perfectly paired with a drink that suits the flavour of the course. These menus change each season and are meant to ignite all of your senses, creating a euphoric feeling you’ll never forget.
